Configuring Mozilla Thunderbird
The following instructions are aimed at setting up an email account in Mozilla Thunderbird 2.x on Windows XP (Home or Professional Editions). The same server and logon information applies to versions of the software and all versions of Windows, but the places to input these values may be located in different areas. If you need any assistance you can call for help or check the application's website for further information.

- Step 1
Click on the Start button, go to All Programs (Sometimes just called Programs) and look for Mozilla Thunderbird folder in the list. In this folder you should look for the Mozilla Thunderbird shortcut. Click on it to open it.

When Thunderbird loads, go to the top menu (File, Edit, View, etc) and click on Tools and then Account Settings. This will open a new window called Account Settings.

In the new window, click on the Add Account button near the bottom left. The Account Wizard window should now appear.

Select Email account from the list and then click Next.

Type in your name and email address in their respective fields and then click Next.
- Step 6
Under Select the type of incoming server chose POP3 from the available options. Enter mail.agwireless.net in the Incoming Server field and smtp.agwireless.net in the Outgoing Server field and then click Next.

Type in your full email address (your-username@agwireless.net) for your Incoming User Name and click Next.
- Step 8
Type in a "friendly name" for this account in the Account Name field and click Next.

Your account is now configured for use in Mozilla Thunderbird. Verify all your settings and click Finish.
- Step 10
The first time you attempt to receive mail and the first time you attempt to send mail you will be prompted for your account password. Enter it in the password field, and if you want, put a checkmark in Use Password Manager to remember this password to prevent being prompted in the future.
Your email account is set up and ready to use. Repeat the above steps to add additional accounts. You can also access your email on the internet from anywhere in the world by going to http://webmail.agwireless.net in a browser window. Remember to log in using your full email address and password.
