Configuring Mail
The following instructions are aimed at setting up an email account in Mail on Mac OSX (Leopard). The same server and logon information applies to versions of the software and all versions of OSX, but the places to input these values may be located in different areas. If you need any assistance you can call for help or check the application's website for further information.

- Step 1
Go to the application dock (located at the bottom of the screen) and look for the Mail icon.

When Mail loads for the first time it should bring up a setup wizard. If not, you may have to go to Mail's Preferences (Step 6 shows where this is located) and add a new account from there. In the setup window, enter your Full Name, Email Address (your-username@agwireless.net) and Password in the necessary fields. Click Continue.
- Step 3
In the new window, make sure POP is selected for the Account Type. For the Description and Incoming Mail Server fields, enter mail.agwireless.net. Ensure that your full email address is entered for your User Name followed by your Password. Click Continue.

In the next window, the Description and Outgoing Mail Server fields should be smtp.agwireless.net. Put a checkmark in the Use Authentication option and ensure that your full email address is entered for your User Name followed by your Password. Click Continue.

The next window should show a summary of your email settings. It will be similar to what is pictured below. To complete the wizard, click Create.

You will be returned to the main window. On the top bar next to the "Apple" logo, click Mail and select Preferences from the list.

In the preferences window, click on the Accounts button at the top and select mail.agwireless.net from the list.

Click on smtp.agwireless.net in the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) options on the right. Select Edit Server List from the menu.
- Step 9
Click on smtp.agwireless.net in the list and click on the Advanced button. Ensure that the Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is not checked. Click OK.
- Step 10
You can now click the "red ball" in the top left of the window to close out of the preferences menu. You will be asked if you want to save the changes to your POP account. Click Save and you will be returned to your inbox.
Your email account is set up and ready to use. Repeat the above steps to add additional accounts. You can also access your email on the internet from anywhere in the world by going to http://webmail.agwireless.net in a browser window. Remember to log in using your full email address and password.
