Configuring Microsoft Outlook Express
The following instructions are aimed at setting up an email account in Microsoft Outlook Express 6 on Windows XP (Home or Professional Editions). The same server and logon information applies to all versions of the software and all versions of Windows, but the places to input these values may be located in different areas. Step 1
Click on the Start button, go to All Programs (Sometimes just called Programs) and look for Outlook Express in the list (it's a white envelope with blue arrows). Click on it to open it.

When Outlook Express loads, go to the top menu (File, Edit, View, etc) and click on Tools and then Accounts. This will open a new window called Internet Accounts.

In the new window, click on the Mail tab at the top, and then click on the button labeled Add and then select Mail. The Internet Connection Wizard window should now appear.

Type in your display name (this can be anything - it is what is displayed to your contacts when you send an email - ie: a "friendly name"). Click on Next.

Now type in your full email address (your-username@agwireless.net). Click Next.

Your account is a POP3 email account. Under incoming mail type in mail.agwireless.net. Under outgoing mail (SMTP) type in smtp.agwireless.net. Click Next.

Under Account Name (sometimes referred to as Login Name or Username), type in your full email address, then enter your password in the Password field. Click Next and then click Finish. The wizard will now close and you will be returned to the Internet Accounts window.

In the Internet Accounts window, you should now see mail.agwireless.net listed as a mail account. Click on this account, click on Set as Default and then click on Properties - this will open a new window called mail.agwireless.net Properties.

In the Properties window, click on the Servers tab, and locate Outgoing mail server towards the bottom of the window. Put a checkmark in My server requires authentication. You can then click Apply and then OK. The Properties window will now close.

Your email account is set up and ready to use. Repeat the above steps to add additional accounts. You can also access your email on the internet from anywhere in the world by going to http://webmail.agwireless.net in a browser window. Remember to log in using your full email address and password.
